There are a lot of great resources out there on the Internet which can be used to help teachers think about teaching and learning. Before you use some of these resources however, you need to consider the following…

  • What are the rules regarding copyright and fair use?
  • When does something need to be cited?
  • How can we discourage our students from the blatant plagiarism of “copy and paste” from the Internet?

Read this web page, Copyright Issues: Readings created for the Web Institute For Teachers and write some comments.

(Thanks to Jonathan Friesen.)
